Taco Bell Bringing Back Beefy Crunch Burrito, Thanks To Its More Than 38,000 Fans

The fans have spoken, and Taco Bell has granted their wishes.

As a result of the Beefy Crunch Movement, which began five years ago, the Beefy Crunch Burrito will return to Taco Bell menus nationwide on April 21.

The Cheesy Double Beef Burrito, another fan favorite, will also come back after a three-year hiatus, according to a release.

"The fact that we have a brand that inspires its fans to create movements around their favorite products is something we value more than anything," said Marisa Thalberg, chief marketing officer for Taco Bell Corp. "Our fans always have a 'seat at our table'... and in this case, we wanted to honor their fandom for the Beefy Crunch and Cheesy Double Beef Burritos by giving them a piece of the menu. They deserve the credit for bringing them back – and our little thank you in return is bringing these favorites back for only a dollar."

The Beefy Crunch Movement, headed by Richard Axton, first got on the chain's radar with a 14-page document outlining their grievances on the absence of Beefy Crunch Burrito from the Taco Bell menu.

According to the company, future fan-favorite additions to the menu will be determined by "fan excitement, passion, and engagement."
