Someone Replaced Ben's Chili Bowl's Mural Of Bill Cosby With Kim Jong Un

If you have ever been to the iconic Ben's Chili Bowl on U Street NW in Washington, you may be familiar with the mural painted on the wall outside of Bill Cosby.

Cosby, who admitted to giving drugs to multiple women he wanted to have sex with, has ties with the owners of Ben's Chili Bowl, which is why the mural has not been removed. But someone was not comfortable with this decision.

On October 19, someone decided to place a large sticker of North Korea leader Kim Jong Un's face over Cosby's.

Instagram user SmearLeader snapped a photo and posted it, saying that it was now "Kim's Chili Bowl."

"Instead of looking at a sexual predator, people can celebrate in jubilation that the great leader is now on their wall," the Instagram user wrote in the caption.

SmearLeader has apparently stuck Kim Jong Un stickers around other parts of the city.

Co-owner Sonya Ali, who runs Ben's Chili Bowl with her husband, told The Washington Post that they were "not prepared to talk about it at this time."

In July, Ali and her husband opened a new location on H Street NE, where Cosby seems to play no role in the establishment's operations.
