Salted caramel, truffle, ice cream… now that’s the way to celebrate spring’s arrival.

The last of the snow has finally disappeared, but that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate with a blizzard of your own. Dairy Queen is making our soft serve dreams come true with their newest DQ Blizzard flavor, salted caramel truffle: salty caramel truffles, toffee, fudge, and dark chocolate chunks. Quit your drooling and get to DQ ASAP, because this flavor will only be around until the end of April as part of Dairy Queen’s “Fanniversary” (their 75th anniversary celebration).

The newest DQ treat is supposed to be served upside down, and if your server forgets, the next one is on the house. We’re not entirely sure about an upside-down Blizzard, but we sincerely hope our truffle pieces stay in place!

“Fans have tasted many Blizzard treat favorites, but the Salted Caramel Truffle Blizzard treat is perfection,” said Barry Westrum, executive VP of marketing for Dairy Queen. “It’s our best-tasting Blizzard treat test in the treat's 35-year existence and solidifies why the flavor is ideal for our 75th Fanniversary celebration.”
