The “new, globally-inspired preparation” was developed to “meet consumers’ interest in and demand for complex, and interesting flavor experiences,” according to a release.
The limited-time offering features wood-grilled shrimp with a “sweet, savory soy ginger sauce and Korean gochujang paste.”
During the Endless Shrimp promotion, guests begin with two shrimp preparations of their choice, then order as many additional shrimp options as they want, one at a time.
This year’s Endless Shrimp lineup includes Korean BBQ grilled shrimp, new Parmesan peppercorn shrimp, hand-crafted shrimp scampi, hand-breaded shrimp, and shrimp linguini alfredo.
“Our guests told us they love shrimp because it is highly appealing and familiar – and can be enjoyed in many ways from skewers to scampi to fried,” said Danielle Connor, SVP of menu strategy and development at Red Lobster. “They also told us that Korean BBQ is a flavor that would entice them to make a special trip to the restaurant, so we’re excited to make it an option during Endless Shrimp.”
