Police On The Lookout For Burglar Posing As Pizza Delivery Man, Armed Accomplices

Police in Palo Alto, California, are searching for three robbery suspects who attempted a home invasion at gunpoint, including one who pretended to be a pizza delivery man, authorities announced.

On Sunday, August 2, the fake pizza shop employee knocked on the door of a home and told the teenager who answered that he was delivering a pizza the family had ordered.

When the young girl told him that he was mistaken, he pushed his way inside. He was followed by two masked accomplices who were carrying a handgun and a knife.

The girl's mother appeared and suffered a "small abrasion to her face" when one of the men attempted to quiet her screams, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The girl's father then appeared, and the thieves turned and ran away without stealing anything. The suspects were in the home for less than a minute. Police are continuing to search for all three suspects.
