This Oxtail Pho-Dip Burrito Is The Trifecta Of Trendy Food Mashups

First, we had the sushi burrito, then we had the pho-rito, which became popular thanks to Komodo in Santa Monica. But now, the latest food trend is the oxtail pho-dip burrito, a trifecta of mashups that combines the sauciness of a French dip sandwich with the flavors of Vietnamese pho soup, all rolled up like a burrito.

Large pieces of juicy oxtail are combined with dry ingredients from pho broth like rice noodles, bean sprouts, and peppers, which are then rolled up in a flour tortilla and dipped into the traditional pho broth, a process that looks delicious — albeit extremely messy and tough to eat, if we're going to be honest.

This hybrid menu item made by Sit Low Pho in Santa Ana California will be exclusively available at the Foodbeast festival, Noods Noods Noods, on Jan. 14, but it will likely be added to the regular menu at the pho noodle spot afterward.
