For One Night Only, Marta's Nick Anderer Introduces The Collective Pizza, Benefiting Citymeals-On-Wheels

On Monday, July 20, chef Nick Anderer will team up with the Chefs Collective — a panel of chefs and mixologists who consult on product development and recipes for Williams Sonoma — to offer the Collective Pizza at Marta in New York City, the first-ever pizzeria from restaurateur Danny Meyer.

Since opening last fall, the pizzeria has been visited by a number of notable chefs, including Ferran Adrià and Marcus Samuelsson.

The Collective Pizza, featuring tomatoes, eggplant, grated Grana Padano cheese, fresh mozzarella, grated ricotta salata, and basil leaves, will be available on Monday only, for $15.

Chef Anderer, who is also the executive chef and partner at Maialino near Gramercy Park, will donate all proceeds from the Collective Pizza to Citymeals-on-Wheels, a privately funded organization that provides food and company to New York City's elderly and homebound residents. Last year, the program provided approximately two million meals for more than 18,000 elderly residents across all five boroughs.
