Now You Can Reorder From Grubhub Through Amazon Alexa

First you could order Starbucks through Amazon Alexa. Now the voice-activated device can have food delivered to your door through Grubhub.

Through the partnership, Grubhub users who have an Amazon Alexa device, such as the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, or Amazon Tap, can utilize the function, but there's a catch — you can only choose from your last three orders, according to the press release.

After activating the function by linking your Grubhub account to your Alexa app, you can cue the device with prompts such as "Alexa, open Grubhub" or "Alexa, tell Grubhub I'm hungry." Alexa will then respond with the most recent orders available.

"Ordering meals with only your voice is one of the more popular capabilities on Alexa. Customers love how convenient it is to simply ask Alexa to place an order for delivery," Rob Pulciani, the director of Amazon's Alexa project, said in a statement.

In honor of the partnership, Grubhub is offering a sweepstakes that will allow diners to win a $500 Grubhub gift card when they order three times in March.
