What will this mean for other delivery services like Seamless or GrubHub?

The New York State Restaurant Association has just announced a partnership with Delivery.com, offering discounts to members for using this leading marketplace for online ordering and local delivery. This may mean that when you order lunch from your local Thai spot or pizzeria, the restaurant will be more likely to use Delivery.com.

“The partnership with Delivery.com is a deal we’ve been working on for the last six months and is just one of the many new benefits we are rolling out,” said Melissa Fleischut, President and CEO of the New York State Restaurant Association. “The New York State Restaurant Association is the leading trade organization for restaurants and our member benefits are the most competitive available.”

The Delivery.com benefits are just one of 10 benefits offered to restaurant members of the New York State Restaurant Association, including staffing, workers’ compensation, and insurance.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with the New York State Restaurants Association,” said Mike Davis, Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Delivery.com. “The work they do is so important for local business communities, and we’re happy to help by providing NYSRA members with a superior online ordering platform for their customers.”
