New Ice Cream Sandwiches At Friendly's Are Made With Pop Tarts And Take 5

Friendly's has combined ice cream, Pop Tarts, and Take 5 to create an incredible ice cream sandwich.

The Candy Bar Ice Cream Sandwich, now available at Friendly's restaurants, is made with Candy Bar Ice Cream, "rich nougat ice cream with chocolate-coated peanuts, milk chocolate chunks, and swirls of fudge and caramel," which is 'sandwiched' between two Frosted Chocolate Fudge Pop Tarts. It is finished with Take 5 candy bar crumbles, for good measure.

This creation follows two ice cream sandwiches introduced earlier this year: Forbidden Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich and Strawberry Ice Cream Sandwich. Forbidden Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich featured Forbidden chocolate ice cream, Frosted Chocolate Pop Tarts, and chocolate sprinkles; while Strawberry Ice Cream Sandwich is made with strawberry ice cream, Frosted Strawberry Pop Tarts, and rainbow sprinkles.

Candy Bar Ice Cream Sandwich, priced at $2.99 is now the only Pop Tarts ice cream sandwich available at this time. Friendly's has over 250 restaurants in the following states that offer the sandwiches: Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Vermont, Florida, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, and South Carolina. It will be available through June 5.
