Krispy Kreme Is Coming Out With A Nutella Doughnut

Forget the rainbow pastries and maple bacon doughnuts: This fried dough iteration is far more important. Krispy Kreme has just announced that they will be partnering with Ferrero Rocher to release a Nutella doughnut. The Nutty Cocoa Ring doughnut, as it's being dubbed, will be available at participating Krispy Kreme locations starting today, Friday, December 16.

"Both Nutella and Krispy Kreme products are adored around the world, and we are thrilled to bring a product featuring the classic taste of Krispy Kreme and the nutty flavor of Nutella to our shops domestically," said Jackie Woodward, Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in a statement. "Krispy Kreme has a wide variety of doughnuts, but this indulgent combination will allow for a flavor experience unlike any other."

The doughnut is dipped in Nutella, covered in chopped hazelnuts, and then — as if there wasn't enough chocolate in this treat — slathered in chocolate icing.
