Jimmy John's Employees Fired After Playing Jump Rope With Dough

It's all fun and games until you get recorded on Snapchat and fired from your job. Jimmy John's employees in Jacksonville, Florida, were caught on video jumping rope with bread dough and terminated from their positions at the sandwich chain.

The inspectors who investigated the restaurant on Tuesday were told the dough was leftover and was thrown away afterward, according to News4Jax.

On Monday, the video was posted on Facebook and has since received more than 26,000 views and more than 200 shares.

On Tuesday, the franchisees of the Jacksonville location where the video was filmed, James and Rebecca Williams, issued the following statement:

"Our investigation confirmed the dough used in the video was immediately discarded after the incident, however we do not condone this behavior from our employees and appropriate action has been taken to prevent this from ever happening again.

"We have been serving the community at this site for more than four years and will continue to provide only the highest quality and freshest product to our customers."

The Florida Division of Hotels and Restaurants inspector issued the location 17 violations.
