Jessica Biel Is Opening A New Restaurant With Parents And Kids In Mind

Jessica Biel knows firsthand that dining out with children can be a stressful situation for all involved. It is with this in mind that Biel created Au Fudge, a family-friendly restaurant that helps to alleviate many of the stresses parents face.

Biel tells E! Online, "You get to a place, you want to make sure the diners around you are not being bothered, you're full of anxiety, you're trying to go as fast as you can—you don't enjoy it at all. That is exactly what we want to erase from the feeling of a mom, a dad, a family, a nanny, grandparents bringing their grandkids here. It doesn't matter. We just want you to feel stress free about it and know that they're playing with things that are safe, that we don't use chemicals here, that there's not just a bunch of plastic everywhere and we've really tried to think very thoughtfully about your family because it's our family, too."

The children's component encompasses about half of the restaurant, LA Eater describes. There is a play area that takes over two rooms and a 'treehouse' for kids to play in. There will be a nominal daily charge for children to gain access into the area, and Au Pairs will monitor the areas.

The food at the restaurant is mostly organic, seasonally-driven, and focused on sustainability with a multitude of dessert options, including s'mores bread pudding, birthday cake, and mixed berry cobbler topped with homemade ice cream.
