Jelly Belly's Organic Line Will Hit Shelves This Winter

The iconic Jelly Belly jelly beans are getting an organic makeover. A release reveals details of the new USDA-certified organic candy and snack line, which will hit store shelves this winter. For those that can't wait, the new items can be purchased in bulk online. Jelly Belly is launching organic jelly beans in 10 assorted and five sour flavors, and organic fruit-flavored snacks featuring a mix of six flavors in each bag.

The flavors of the 10-flavor assorted mix are apple, berry, blueberry, cherry, coconut, lemon, orange, peach, pear, and strawberry. The five sour flavors are apple, cherry, lemon, orange, and berry. The fruit-flavored snacks come in six flavors: strawberry, berry, lemon, apple, orange, and cherry. All the ingredients used for these products are USDA-certified organic, made with non-GMO ingredients, and the flavors and colors come from natural sources. This is the company's first organic line, according to the release.

Rob Swaigen, vice president of global marketing, says, "Consumers are interested in a wide variety of organic food products. The organic category has steadily grown for the last decade, and we are excited to meet this growing demand with organic gourmet confections and snacks."
