Jason Brunetti Creates Thanksgiving On A Pizza At Pizzetteria Brunetti

Pizzetteria Brunetti, the West Village- and Westhampton-based pizzeria with a stellar Zagat rating and a place on The Daily Meal's own 50 Best Pizzas in New York 2014 list, will be celebrating Thanksgiving with a fully loaded Thanksgiving pizza.

A long and careful research process led pizzaiolo Jason Brunetti to a carefully layered creation, featuring, from the bottom up: "goat cheese; roasted pumpkin spiced pumpkin; organic turkey sausage (custom made to Jason's specifications with turkey leg, duck confit skin, Grand Marnier, white wine, and a proprietary mixture of fresh herbs and spices that evokes the flavor of turkey stuffing); fresh sage; and Brussels sprouts." After the pizza is taken out of the oven, it is finished with a housemade compote of cranberry, apple, and pearl onion.

Pizzetteria Brunetti's Thanksgiving Pizza is available now through the end of November for $20, and the response has already been so positive that the pizza is on its way to becoming an annual tradition.
