Intoxicated Man Arrested After He Fell Asleep In The Taco Bell Drive-Thru

Police in Bloomington, Indiana, arrested a man on Wednesday, August 12, for falling asleep in the Taco Bell drive-thru at 3 a.m. The man was spotted by a witness, who called the authorities.

Officers arrived on the scene and woke up the tired taco fan, 21-year-old Indiana University student Tyler Freimuth, and asked him what he was doing there.

Freimuth reportedly responded, "Looking for extra-large dryer sheets." He also told police that he was waiting for his friends who were inside the restaurant, but the Taco Bell was closed.

Authorities then subjected Freimuth to a breathalyzer test, which he failed. Police arrested him for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. It is unclear if the car was running at the time.

Though they should find a designated driver, Freimuth might have a kindred spirit in the infamous McDonald's superfan who was arrested for two consecutive DUIs because he drove drunk to McDonald's twice in a single night.
