Join New York Times Magazine Editor Jake Silverstein For A Live Talk At Hill Country Brooklyn

On April 13, Hill Country Brooklyn will host the second installment of The Brisket Sessions, featuring a Q&A with Jake Silverstein, editor in chief of The New York Times Magazine.

Tickets ($5 including one draft beer, margarita, or soft drink) are available now for the live talk, which will cover Silverstein's career in journalism, the magazine's recent rebranding, and comparisons between New York City and Texas barbecue.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the talk will take place from 6:30 to 7:30.

Prior to joining The New York Times Magazine in 2014, Silverstein was the editor in chief of Texas Monthly for six years, during which time the magazine was nominated for 13 National Magazine Awards, and won four.

During his tenure, Silverstein hired Texas Monthly's first-ever barbecue editor, Daniel Vaughn.

Dan Roth, executive editor of LinkedIn, will return as moderator. Previously, Roth was the moderator for the first Brisket Sessions featuring Seth Meyers. Following the moderated Q&A, members of the audience are welcome to submit questions.
