‘The more creative, pun-tastic, and delicious-sounding, the better’

Danny Meyer’s flagship location of Shake Shack has been “getting some much-needed renovation love” for the last several months, for changes including interior expansion that will allow more room for food preparation, as well as storage space downstairs.

Watch the video below, and while you’re waiting for Shake Shack Madison Square Park to return, consider making Shake Shack history with their newly announced Concrete Contest.

Once per day, you can submit one creation (with a name and ingredients of your choosing) online for the chance to have your concrete make it to Shake Shack Herald Square’s permanent menu.

The contest runs until April 27 and as a helpful tip, Shake Shack says the more “creative, pun-tastic, and delicious-sounding” your concrete is, the better.

If yours is chosen, you’ll get to work with Shake Shack culinary director Mark Rosati on the development of the recipe, and will receive “a sweet Shack swag prize package.”
