Who doesn’t scream for gourmet, chocolate-flavored ice cream?

It’s National Ice Cream Day and Carvel is celebrating with its annual deal on soft serve. On Sundae Sunday you can get a buy one, get one deal on any cone or cup.

The company’s  also using this delicious unofficial holiday to promote its newest limited edition ice cream: Ghirardelli.

Carvel has teamed up with other popular brands in the past like Reese’s and Nutella, and this time it’s created a soft serve treat with the popular chocolate company. The deal is only good this Sunday, but you can get the Ghirardelli ice cream blended with chocolate syrup — in saucer, shake, cone, cup, or sundae form, until July 31.

The Ghirardelli Sundae Dasher is layered with chocolate crunchies and chocolate sauce, topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce drizzle.  Hurry before they’re all sold out.

“We’re thrilled to offer buy one get one in celebration of ice cream’s biggest holiday. National Ice Cream Day is important for us, as America’s freshest ice cream, we want our guests to celebrate the day with us,” said Scott Colwell, president of Carvel. “This year, we decided to take National Ice Cream day to the next level and survey consumers to get an even better idea of how America prefers to enjoy ice cream.”
