Carmine's Restaurant, the bustling, family-friendly Italian restaurant that first opened more than two decades ago on New York City's Upper West Side, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with 25-cent meatballs all morning.

On September 25, Carmine's will give out quarter meatballs outside of both its New York locations — on the Upper West Side, and in the Theater District.

Carmine's will serve meatballs from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on West 44th Street, and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Broadway between 90th and 91st.

Inside, guests can celebrate with more special offers, including $25 deals on penne alla vodka, pasta with garlic and oil, chicken Parmigiana, and $25 magnums of Carmine's Trebbiano and Montepulciano.

Since the first location of Carmine's opened in 1990, the restaurant has expanded to Washington, D.C., Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and the Bahamas. In 2008, Carmine's released Carmine's Family-Style Cookbook, with more than 100 of its most popular recipes, followed by Carmine's Celebrates, in 2014.
