California Burger Chain Unveils Eggs Benedict Burger On Sourdough French Toast

This month, California burger chain Slater's 50/50 combines breakfast and burgers in their latest creation: French Toast Benny Burger. The January Burger of the Month features a breakfast sausage patty, chipotle hollandaise, Canadian bacon, a sunny-side-up egg, and spinach, all on a piece of sourdough French toast.

The 1/3 pound burger costs $10.95, and according to Slater's it pairs well with their beer of the month: Elysian Loser Pale Ale. Regarding the French Toast Benny Burger, Slater's invites customers to "Brunch on THAT!"

Slater's is most famously known for its original 50/50 patty, which consists of 50% ground bacon and 50% ground beef. Past Burgers of the Month include The Thanksgiving Burger (seasoned turkey patty with brioche dressing, turkey gravy, house made cranberry sauce, garlic, and sage aïoli on a honey wheat bun), The Bone Marrow Burger (Brandt beef, bone marrow pistachio butter, blue cheese, shoestring truffle fries, balsamic onions, arugula, and garlic aïoli on a brioche bun), and last January's Faux Gras Burger (peppered Brandt beef, fattened chicken livers, Granny Smith apple and onion marmalade, white cheddar, onion strings, grain mustard, and arugula on a brioche bun).
