Mountain Dew/ Buffalo Wild Wings

A Buffalo wing/Mountain Dew mashup is definitely one of the most American things we’ve heard all week.

Buffalo Wild Wings is getting a little wilder with a brand-new wing sauce made from Mountain Dew. You heard that right: America’s favorite late-night convenience store soft drink now comes in a zesty citrus sauce that will only be available to slather on wings for a limited time.

Expect to start seeing them at Buffalo Wild Wing locations starting December 14.

The new sauce will be made from a mix of Mountain Dew, lemongrass, ginger, soy sauce, and red peppers. Now you’ll be able to do the Dew while chowing down on some top-notch appetizers. You can either get the Mountain Dew sauce directly on top of your wings, or if the radioactive soda experience is too much for you, you can also ask for the sauce on the side.

The Mountain Dew/ Buffalo Wild Wings mashup may sound strange, but soda-inspired wing sauces are definitely nothing new. Coca-Cola chicken wings are incredibly popular recipes on The Daily Meal. The syrup in the soda makes for an excellent sweet marinade for coating wings.
