A Surge Slushie Is Coming Soon To Burger King

Burger King is tapping into their customers' penchant for 90s nostalgia with the introduction of a Surge slushie.Surge, if you remember correctly, was the neon-green soda that was all the rage during the time of Disc Walkmans, Blockbusters, and acid-washed jeans, and now it's having a comeback.Last year, Coca-Cola announced the prodigal return of Surge, which had disappeared from shelves in 2002.

Burger King has quietly added frozen Surge to the nutritional info section of its website, although no one has actually reported seeing the Surge slushie on menus yet. We're guessing the slushie (which you can buy in 12, 16, or 20-fluid ounce-sizes) was mistakenly added to the Burger King website a bit early. But that's not all: Burger King is also listing Vault soda on its drink menu online. If you remember, Vault was that soda-energy drink hybrid that was popular for a while in the mid-00s, but was discontinued in 2011.

Needless to say, the thought of a frozen Surge has people jumping for joy in their corduroys and light-up sneakers.

According to this employee, the drink will be available in the next two weeks:
