Stumptown Will Hand Out Free Stephen Colbert-Inspired Cold Brews For The Premiere Of 'The Late Show'

Stephen Colbert will take David Letterman's place as the host of The Late Show beginning September 8, and to celebrate the occasion, CBS is teaming up with Stumptown Coffee Roasters to create a limited-edition cold brew cleverly called "Col'Brew."

CBS will hand out bottles of Col'Brew, which feature Colbert's face on the label of Stumptown's original cold brew, in New York City for free on the premiere day of The Late Show.

Colbert is a comedian and the former host of The Colbert Report on Comedy Central, which aired its final episode in December 2014. The Late Show will be taped at the Ed Sullivan Theater, and Colbert's bandleader will be jazz and blues musician Jon Batiste.

Stumptown previously collaborated with Shake Shack to make free special-edition affogatos for one day only back in March 2014. The affogatos consisted of Stumptown's Nitro Cold Brew poured over Shake Shack's vanilla frozen custard.
