Starbucks Is Serving A Seahawks-Inspired Frappuccino For The Big Game

Good news for Seahawks supporters: a creative Starbucks barista has created a blue and green Frappuccino in honor of the Seattle Seahawks. The creation, a Vanilla Bean Crème handcrafted beverage blended with blueberries and topped with green tea matcha-infused whipped cream, will be available at all participating Oregon and Washington-area Starbucks locations this Super Bowl weekend.

"I would love it if Russell Wilson would try a Seahawks Frappuccino," said Thom Arvin, a three-year Starbucks partner (employee) in a statement. "We are both from Richmond, Virginia and his high school was Collegiate, which is where my whole family on my mother's side went to school."

That would be pretty cool, Thom. As further celebration, employees in Washington will be wearing Seahawks colors on Blue Friday, and a limited number of Seahawks Starbucks cards will be re-released in in many participating Washington area stores.

If you are dropping by for a coffee at a Boston-area Starbucks, you unfortunately won't be able to get a blueberry-topped, raspberry-drizzle Frappuccino to cheer on Tom Brady and the boys. But if you could, the Grande cups would likely be half-empty in deference of "deflategate."
