Red Robin To Release A Burger-Inspired Beer Next Week

Red Robin — known for its unique spins on burgers — subtly changed its name to Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews, and will soon be releasing its first beer, in collaboration with New Belgium, called the grilled pineapple golden ale, inspired by the popular Banzai burger with its signature pineapple and teriyaki flavors.

"We are excited to tap into beer lovers' craving for unique beer offerings and complement the Banzai burger, one of our most popular burgers, in an entirely new and refreshing way," said Jonathan Muhtar, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Red Robin, in a statement.

This golden ale brew is made with notes of ginger, brown sugar, and black malt, pineapple chunks, and finished with Applewood smoked malt.

The beer will make its debut at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Oct. 6–8. After making its debut, the beer will be available at participating Red Robin restaurants in the Colorado area.
