Mother Of Dragons! 'Game Of Thrones' Limited-Edition Beers Will Be Re-Released This Fall

Brace yourselves for some brews of ice and fire. After the wildly popular limited release of multiple Game of Thrones-themed beers over the last couple of years, Brewery Ommegang will re-release Iron Throne Blonde Ale and the Take the Black Stout this fall.So if you missed the beers the first time around, now's your chance to try the brews inspired by the warring houses of Westeros. Both will be available this fall on draft and in single 750-milliliter bottles.

"We had no idea what the reaction to a Game of Thrones beer would be when this all started," said Bill Wetmore, marketing director for Brewery Ommegang.  "We were blown away by the runaway success of these first two beers and are very excited to give loyal fans another chance to enjoy them."

When they were originally released, Take the Black Stout and Iron Throne Blonde Ale sold out in stores very quickly, but this time around they will have a larger distribution, so more fans can experience these themed brews while watching their favorite characters die on TV.

Iron Throne Blonde Ale "has a slightly hazy golden amber hue," and "the finish is crisp, backed by a touch of spice and hops." Whereas Take the Black Stout is "deep black in hue, with a full tan head," with flavors of "chocolate, dark coffee, and rich malt character." Looks for both beers in distributors and liquor stores later this month.
