London Pop-Up Featured Dogs Serving Beer

Here we go again with another weird London pop-up (though we admit this one sounds pretty adorable).

Kronenbourg Bar D'Alsace-tian, "the world's first bar staffed by dogs," was open to the public on May 6 between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Professionally trained Alsatian, or "Alsace-tian" dogs delivered a Taste Supreme of Kronenbourg 1664 to each customer, according to an event page.

The pop-up was a PR stunt which coincided with the launch of a new Kronenbourg advertisement starring Eric Catona and a pair of Alsatian dogs "delivering a Taste Supreme around Alsace," reports Irish Examiner.

Ifeoma Dozie, brand director at Kronenbourg 1664, said, "We're absolutely delighted to be opening the doors on the world's first bar staffed by dogs. It provides customers with a truly unique experience and is the ideal way for us to bring the 'Alsace-tians' to Kronenbourg fans. With Bar D'Alsace-tian, we will have man's best friend delivering one of man's greatest achievements: the Taste Suprême of Kronenbourg 1664."
