Kraft Helps McDonald's Launch National Campaign For McCafe Coffee In Stores

Kraft Foods Group will launch a major campaign in support of the national debut of McDonald's McCafe bagged coffee, which will hit the shelves beginning next week, reports Crain's Chicago.

The campaign, from McDonald's longtime lead creative agency DDB Chicago, will begin airing next year, and "is expected to include national TV, print and digital."

Kraft Foods Group will oversee the manufacturing, distribution, and marketing for McCafe in stores, according to Crain's Chicago. The nationwide launch of McCafe in stores will feature several varieties including: premium roast, breakfast blend, French roast, Colombian, decaf, French vanilla, hazelnut, and French roast whole bean. The coffee will also be available in K-Cup servings.

"We're excited to begin the journey of McCafe in retail with DDB," announced Adam Butler, marketing director for McCafe at Kraft. "Their strategic expertise and knowledge of both the McCafe brand and CPG sector are invaluable as we bring one of America's most beloved and fastest-growing coffee brands to the grocery aisle later this month."
