Great Scott, This 'Back To The Future' Beer Could Not Be Released At A More Perfect Time

October 21 is known as Back to the Future Day in honor of the movie Back to the Future II, but this year is even more special because it is the day that Marty McFly and Doc Brown chose to travel into the future from 1985 in the movie.

Pepsi has released Pepsi Perfect in honor of the drink Marty McFly orders in Back to the Future II, and now Pipeworks Brewing Company in Chicago is releasing a special beer on the exact day Marty ventures to the future in his time-traveling car.

The beer is called the Twin Pines Mall Imperial IPA, named after the car chase scene in the beginning of the movie when Marty McFly goes back in time to 1955. It is a double pale ale brewed with spruce tips and honey, and is made in collaboration with Emporium Chicago.

Pipeworks Brewing Co. announced on their Instagram that the beer will debut at Emporium Chicago in Wicker Park on Back to the Future Day at 7 p.m. Costumes are encouraged at the Back to the "Brewture" celebration. The future is now!
