The First World Coffee Science Summit Is Coming To El Salvador In May

This May, coffee experts and scientists will gather in San Salvador, El Salvador for the first World Coffee Science Summit to talk about issues in the coffee industry surrounding sustainability and coffee growth and production.

According to the World Coffee Science Summit website, the conference aims to allow people from all over the globe to meet and discuss new research, scientific thinking, and practical applications in the coffee world.

In addition to education programing and networking opportunities, the summit will also have the Expocafe, an exhibition for companies, products, and services.

The summit was organized by different coffee associations in El Salvador, including the Inter-American institute for Agriculture Cooperation (IICA), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and World Coffee Research (WCR).

The conference will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel San Salvador. Tickets for the summit are available online and range from $200 to $300.
