Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Introduces Salted Butterscotch Lattes For Fall

Peach- and watermelon-flavored everything is starting to fade as the crisper flavors of fall begin to take over your grocery shelves and coffee syrups. Everything seems to be pumpkin spice-flavored, but apple cider, caramel, and butternut squash are also common themes. The coffee chain Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is introducing a brand-new autumn flavor for their iced coffees and lattes: salted butterscotch.

Butterscotch reminds us of Werther's hard candies, but these lattes aren't your Grandma's sweets. The salted butterscotch latte is described as having "rich notes of buttery caramel and the subtle flavor of salt." For the pumpkin-obsessed among you, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will also be serving pumpkin lattes and pumpkin chai lattes made with real pumpkin, cinnamon, and spices.

These fall flavors will be on the menu from August 31 through November 1. On September 2 from 2 to 6 p.m., you can sample any one of the new beverages in a small size for just $2. Most Coffee Bean & Tea Leafs are in New York, California, and Texas, but you can look up locations here.
