The dreaded task of cleaning the grill is now a thing of the past, thanks to Grillbot. Grillbot, a grill-cleaning robot, is like a Roomba for your grill. The automated robot cleans grills with a push of a button.
Grillbot features a rechargeable battery, three electric motors, and an LCD alarm and timer. Users need to wait for the grill to cool down to a temperature of about 200 degrees F before using Grillbot, and the robot has an alarm that sounds if the grill is too hot. The wire brushes on Grillbot are easily removed and dishwasher safe. TechCrunch says, “Ultimately, the Grillbot isn’t going to be as effective as good old elbow grease, but could be a neat gift for yourself or any lazy griller in your life.”
Originally launched in 2014, new nylon brush add-ons and an optional carrying case were presented at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), according to TechCrunch. Grillbot retails for $129.
