Celebrate Oktoberfest With Shake Shack

Move aside, pumpkin spice latte. October is coming, and that means celebrating Oktoberfest with German beers (and food). Shacktoberfest, Shake Shack's 8th annual celebration of German tastes, is back. From October 3 through 12, you can order off a specialty Oktoberfest menu with brat burgers, German chocolate concretes, or a stein filled with Brooklyn Brewery's best Oktoberfest beer. You can get any one of these "wunderbar" creations at all Shake Shack locations, excluding airport and ballparks.

You can buy a Shake Shack bier stein for $10, and receive $7 beer refills throughout the Shaktoberfest weeklong celebration. There's also the Bavarian Brat; Currywurst, a Bavarian brat topped with curry and shallots; Brat Burger, topped with bacon Cheddar-stuffed bratwurst and Shack sauce; the Bacon Cheddar Brat; German Chocolate Walnut Concrete; and the Apfelstrudel Shake, hand-spun with apples, caramel, and spices.

All bratwurst served at Shake Shack are deemed authentic, and are made by Schaller and Weber, the German butcher and sausage maker in Astoria.
