Carvel Now Serving Nutella Soft Serve And Ice Cream
If you are the type to throw a few scoops of ice cream into an almost-empty jar of Nutella (and honestly, who isn't that type?), then Carvel has got some amazing news for you! The beloved soft serve and ice cream cake company is releasing a line of brand-new Nutella-flavored ice cream and soft serves for the summer months. Many locations have already started serving Nutella ice cream, but the official limited release ice cream will be topping waffle cones from June 30 through Sept. 30.
"Nutella has such a loyal following and we know our guests will be thrilled that it's being paired with our fresh ice cream," said Carvel president Scott Colwell in a statement.
With that brand-new Nutella deliciousness comes a new line of Nutella-inspired flavors, sundaes, and cone specials that Carvel is promoting as well, including Nutella-flavored ice cream layered with the infamous fudgy hazelnut spread and Carvel's signature crunchies, the Sundae Dasher (Nutella ice cream topped with bananas, whipped cream, and Nutella), and the Sundae Dasher with Carvel's crunchies.
Both Nutella and Carvel are celebrating big anniversaries this year: Nutella just celebrated its 50th anniversary, and Carvel is turning 80.
