Ben And Jerry's Releases Newest, Delicious SNL Flavor

Ever since Ben and Jerry's graced us with "Lazy Sunday" and "Gilly"-inspired ice cream, we've been hungry for some more frozen Saturday Night Live desserts. Just announced today, the newest Ben and Jerry's SNL flavor is "Two Wild and Crazy Pies" based off of the beloved sketch with Dan Aykroyd and Steve Martin, "Two Wild and Crazy Guys."

"While our first two SNL flavors were inspired by more recent characters and sketches, we didn't forget the classics from the earlier decades," said Scoop Shop Brand Manager Alison Gilbert.

This swingin' good flavor is the most delicious out of the whole bunch (according to the sophisticated palates of the Daily Meal staff), and features coconut cream pie ice cream, chocolate cream pie ice cream, and adds in a scrumptious chocolate cookie swirl. The flavor will be available at Ben and Jerry's scoop shops nationwide. (Note: anyone can enjoy the chocolate, coconut-y swirl ice cream, even if you're not wearing kooky American plaid).

Watch out for the fourth and final flavor in the collaboration with SNL's 40th anniversary celebrations in early 2015.
