Foursquare Tips

  • Buy a membership! There is so much to see and do that you'll definitely want to come back. The kids (and adults) could spend several hours exploring the interactive exhibits and not get to it all.
  • Start at the 5th floor and work down.
  • Check out the Gems & Minerals Exhibit in the O.C. Tanner Hall! Not that we're biased or anything.
  • Treats from City Cakes available at the cafe! :) :)
  • Well worth the time. Look at everything and you will still miss a ton
  • Don't miss the Native Voices room in the back. You are greeted in the native tongues of Utah--Navajo, Ute, Paiute, Shoshone and Goshute.
  • I loved looking at all the dinosaur bones and taxidermy animals. Lots of things to look at, they definitely have something for everyone. A beautiful collection of native American clothing and pots
  • My 4 year old loves the dinosaurs. Great exhibit!
  • Lego Engineering Summer Camp was AWESOME!
  • Utilize the food trucks that stop by!
  • Give yourself plenty of time. Lots to see!
  • Worth seeing. Go on the first Wednesday of the month for free admission!

  • Give yourself plenty of time here. There is so much to see!
  • The architecture, exhibits, and people? I especially like the wide variety of exhibits that each have a place to reflect, listen, read or get involved!
  • Beautiful building, wonderful layout. Lots of kids.
  • They do great seasonal exhibits. The history of chocolate exhibit was my favorite!
  • One of the best natural history museums I have ever been to. Amazing interactive learning experience. Be wary of the school field trips during the weekdays.
