Foursquare Tips

  • Moravian Cookie Crusted Salmon
  • Love this place! The chicken livers and meat loaf are awesome
  • Get the crab cakes, mussels and BLT oyster salad. Outstanding meal!
  • The pot roast is succulent with a delish rich dark broth. Omg its amazing!!
  • The Meat loaf sandwich is awesome. A side of collards and sweet potato fries.
  • I was not impressed by this place. The food was "meh" for the price and one of waiters drank someone else's leftover wine from a straw... In front of me and my boyfriend. We won't be back.
  • Fried pickles? It totally works. A must-try.
  • Grab the Groupon when you can. Was great with my wife to go there share an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert and only have to worry about paying for the drinks that night. .
  • Try the mac and cheese!
  • The calamari is amazing!!
  • Try the Fried Pickles - Back in the south and eating deep fried things. (via @Foodspotting)
  • Excellent regional food; short wine list is very reasonably priced
  • I didn't like the food but loved the tea and the ambiance
  • Absolutly some of the best food and service around.
  • Try the Fried Chicken - Fried chicken, fried oysters and collards. My 2,000th Foodspotting post! (via @Foodspotting)
  • Lowcountry cuisine that will make you think you're in Charleston. It can get loud, and tables don't offer a lot of privacy. We like the seating area back and to the right best.
  • Try the Pimento Cheese - Toasty, baked pimento cheese dip. @AliceFerris wants this. (via @Foodspotting)
  • Try the Grey Goose Martini With Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives - I'm home! Grey Goose Martini with Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives and local Jazz w @WSNCRadio friends! (via @Foodspotting)
  • Can't go wrong with anything here. Great food & awesome staff! One of the best places to eat in Winston.
  • Ordered the "new" fashioned & received a watered down cocktail. Batter on fried green tomatoes was soggy instead of crispy. Salmon was overcooked. Pork & collared greens were flavorful. Good service .
