Memo: Alerts And Subscriptions Improvements

We'd like to take a moment to address a recent technical issue with dedicated readers of The Daily Meal. In our efforts to continually improve the site, we were recently working diligently to upgrade our alert and newsletter subscriptions for our loyal readers. We were trying to make it easier for avid readers and dedicated subscribers to manage their alerts, whether that meant signing up for new and exciting information about the subjects they're interested in, or replacing old alerts with those about newer subjects. Unfortunately, during our efforts to improve the site, and your experience, we unknowingly interrupted the existing alert process.

We know about the problem and want to be sure you know we heard you. If you did write to us, we've tried to make sure to respond individually and to manually unsubscribe you from repeated alerts. If you didn't write to us, well, we still heard you, and the problem should now be fixed.

Going forward, you should not be experiencing any bugs with your alert management tool. If you are, please make sure to drop us a note. The good news is that you should now have an improved alert and newsletter management system. You should be able to view the newsletters and alerts that you're already signed up for, and to manage and add others with greater ease.

We value your loyalty and your interest in The Daily Meal and all things food and drink that you've come to expect over the years, and look forward to continue working to improve your experience when you spend your time with us.
