Nutrition experts claim that apple juice has fewer nutrients and more calories than expected; in some cases, apple juice also has more sugar than soda. [USA Today]

Urban Farms Pop Up in Building Lots: Real estate developers have been filling stalled construction sites with urban farms and stores. In New York's Chinatown, a farm manager is growing spinach, carrots, and beets out of milk crates. [AP]
