  • This is the taste of France, the memory of so many bistros and bouchons and picnics beside the road. The rillettes taste as authentic as the terrine, fatty and delicious.
  • Calamari + Long Island Duck followed by Pineapple Upside Down Cake = Heaven :)
  • French cuisine by a real Frenchman! The tastes burst in my mouth with mmmmmmmm everytime.
  • If you plan last minute and dinner reservations are full, then go early at 5:30 and sit at the bar!
  • The 3-course prix fixe Spontan Menu ($20 weekdays) is one of the best lunch deals in Orange County. The salad/entree/dessert combination changes daily, making it easy to try something new.
  • Lamb tagine.
  • The shrimp risotto is to die for! Must try!
  • The Spontan Prix Fixe lunch is $20 during the week. A great experience and well worth it!
  • The delicious prix fixe lunch is an excellent value, currently $25 for 3 courses with options for the 1st and 2nd courses and chef's choice dessert.
  • Only things worth eating: Brussels sprouts and the cauliflower. This food hints at France but doesn't quite hit it.
  • Steak tartare. Incredible spread of mix-it-yourself ingredients. And so tasty
  • One of the best French restaurants in California. Lunch is cheaper with a great prix fix menu featuring rotating soups. Try the grilled octopus and steak tartare.

  • Prix Fixe lunch is a great way to try this place without busting the bank
  • The prix fixe menu has some great choices, but the hamachi sashimi is the best!
  • "French" but their "Spanish" dishes are better than "French" ones. Clean n modern food. Not bad. Don't go to the boring set menu. Order a la carte!
  • Even if it weren't in the toniest part of South Coast Plaza (above Tiffany's), Marche Moderne would still be one of the best French restaurants in the county.
  • March Moderne is an oasis of calm, an unexpected place of guinea hen with calvados and scallops with cauliflower mousseline, moules frites and bone marrow with dense sauce bordelaise.
  • Chief is amazing, food is so delicious!
  • Chateauneuf Du Pape by the glass at the bar!
