Foursquare Tips

  • Food is alright. Service blows. Hard.
  • Make your own salad with the control freak salad. At 9 bucks, its a steal of a meal.
  • Have a burger!
  • Ask to sit in ladybug's section...he's the best server ever!! But don't tip him buahahaha
  • Get the marathon homefries with ham, peppers, onions, and gruyere. Try subbing cheddar or adding Tabasco for a little extra spice! Bit marathon homefries are delicious!
  • Great ambience and fantastic food and service!Try the Upper East Side cocktail!
  • Don't be afraid to bring your kids! No one will complain! The menu here (featuring the mini version of their nearly famous matzoh ball soup), offers more than your average burger/pizza/chicken nugget.
  • Go here for brunch! You'll find eggs on a croissant with bacon, Gouda and apple; whole wheat apple-cinnamon pancakes; and lots and lots of coffee.
  • Like this place. Had the blackened chicken, swapped out the provolone for white cheddar. And it comes with hand cut fries.
  • Ask for Jay. He will definitely take care of you. He's also the drink keeper.
  • Be mindful of when they'd charge credit cards. Make sure they do the correct amount. Honest mistake, just be mindful
  • Love a good Bloody Mary? You may be surprised to learn that this Marathon adds the perfect amount of horseradish.
  • Fruit salad is not good, burgers are!
  • I highly recommend the salmon burger here.. It is super delicious!
  • The pint-sized happy hour offers a half-off kids menu with options like matzoh ball soup with chicken and veggies and peanut butter and jelly on whole wheat bread. (M-F 5-6PM)
  • The veggie burger is quite phenomenal.
  • Just so you all know, the mayor (CK), checks in here even when he's not here. Lame dude. Let's overthrow this guy.
  • Try the home fries, they are delicious!
  • Have a beer!
  • The Rioja wine a rare find. Pay the $10 because it is more interesting than Merlot, Chardonnay, and Pinot.
