Foursquare Tips

  • Youve got to sample some of the best Mexican food in the country, including the guacamole and burritos. Adam Richman, Man v. Food
  • 5 lb. Manuel Special (Chile Verde)
  • While in Boyle Heights in East LA, try El Tepeyac. This restaurant was featured in "Man Vs Food" - I wanna be Adam Richmond! ;-p
  • BIG BURRITO!! and Man vs Food was there!
  • I don't know what the hype is all about. It's the worst mexican food I've ever had. The carne asada meat was so dry and had no flavor. People who say its good haven't really had real Mexican food!
  • The burrito was bomb, 3 different size burritos....
  • The Machaca is the best I've eaten in Southern California. One dinner can feed two people. Outstanding Guacamole also.
  • The Best!!!
  • Great LA gem! Try the "Manuel Special" its big enough for two or three...
  • Amazing food! Fantastic service!
  • Best chorizo burrtio! The wait line is a bit long but totally worth the wait. You're greeted by the owner Manuel with a hug and kiss.
  • Manual Special. 5 pounds of awesome burrito. Also their limited times "C" nachos are awesome. I prefer the carnitas over their carne asada.
  • Tire Shop Taqueria is a magical taco assembly line of grills and folding tables set up under two pop-up tents. The tortillas are pressed to order, and all the meat is grilled right in front of you.
  • Casual Mexican cafe with counter; vintage exterior river rock front & original sign.
  • A vendor at LA Weekly's Tacolandia 2015!
  • Meat & Pork

  • Best Mexican food in LA hands down.
  • Try the Manny's Special Burrito - Good for 4-6 people!
  • Service is terrible take out since Manuel died.
