What do Houdini and Hanson have in common (besides all of the ladies they bed)? You could have seen both of them at the coolest festival of the season, if they were still around...  With an event as awesome as the Bedrocktoberfest, it's hard to believe it's only $5.

This coming Saturday, September 20th, Angelinos have the opportunity to attend the sickest festival around— a music and magic festival. Since music is magical and magic is... well, sweet, it only makes sense to host the two at the same event (plus they figured that since people might expect to see musicians if really they meant "magicians", they would just invite them both).

Enjoy artists such as the Yea Yea Yea's, Nick Zinner, supergroup Head Wond City (one part Yeah Yeah Yeahs, two parts The Locust, plus two parts The Blood Brothers), Deap Vally, Cherry Glazerr, Black Sabbitch, and DJ Soft Touch.

And with magic arranged by the Academy of Magical Arts, you can enjoy the entertainment of Arthur Trace, who combines art and theater in an innovative way; Handsome Jack, the celebrity entertainer; and Eric Buss, the comedic magician.

For the cost of a beer you can enjoy music, magic and if you need to re-fuel, The Grilled Cheese Truck, and Layers & Co., a-la-cart. For a few extra bucks, you can also grab a drink from the Biergartens, with Oktoberfest inspired creations.

This is one place Houdini would have never wanted to escape.
