Macaroni Grill Launches No Kid Hungry Campaign To End Childhood Hunger

Starting September 1st, national Italian chain Romano's Macaroni Grill is teaming up with Share Our Strength to launch a No Kid Hungry campaign aimed at ending America's hunger crisis by raising awareness and connecting kids to "1 Million Meals."

Through a platform that spans from the restaurant to the online realm and that includes in-restaurant promotions, social media sharing and a call-to-action of the blogosphere, Romano's Macaroni Grill Chief Marketing Office Brandon Coleman III hopes to "rally a nationwide community" to end childhood hunger in America.

Throughout September, Macaroni Grill diners can donate $2 to No Kid Hungry and receive $5 off their next visit — each donation helps connect a struggling child to up to 20 meals. Online, Macaroni Grill will donate one meal for every photo shared from the Mac Grill Give Facebook Gallery and for every Tweet or Instagram photo tagged with #macgrillgive, connecting a kid to 10 meals. The food- and mom-blogger community can also help end childhood hunger by tagging #macgrillgive to a recipe, message or photo of their favorite Italian meal on their blog, for which Macaroni Grill will donate $50, connecting a child to up to 500 meals.

It's an easy and, not to mention, delicious way to support a fantastic cause. Check out the web site for more information, or go straight to the Mac Grill Give Facebook Gallery to start sharing.
