The Macallan Launches 'Masters of Photography' Exhibit with Annie Leibovitz
The photographs will be paired with single malt Scotch whisky
For the exhibit, Leibovitz photographed actor (and former Macallan employee) Kevin McKidd throughout New York City in what's dubbed as "Macallan moments." The exhibit launches today in Hong Kong, traveling through Moscow to make its final stop in New York City in October.
For the first time ever, Leibovitz's four iconic images will be paired with Macallan single cask expressions of the whisky with limited-edition releases in the U.S. and abroad. Only 1,000 bottles of three of the single malts (with Leibovitz's images on the labels) will be available in the U.S. in October, retailing for about $2,750.
The other previous Masters in Photography exhibits featured Rankin and Albert Watson, but we're sure Leibovitz will grab lots of attention for her series.
