Foursquare Tips

  • Generally speaking, avoid Lowe's like the plague and head to Ace Intown in Virginia Highlands. Better service and cheaper prices!
  • Had a problem with an install... And you know what? No nightmare like you sometimes hear. Lowes stepped up and make everything right. They can keep my business. Thanks Lowes!
  • This is a great Lowe's. I am so glad they are here and I don't have to go to other home improvement stores.
  • Go talk to Momma Angela in CS, she will set you straight: or Shae if you need your grill hooked up! I love it here!
  • Great customer service. Very knowledgable employees.
  • Really bad customer service experience! Encountered 3 staff members and 1 manager and no one offered to help. I was maybe one of 5 customers in the store. #lowescustomerservicefail
  • Has a nice light bulb, rechargeable battery, and plastic bag recycling center right near the entrance (around Returns).
  • You can find some real steals on flowers halfway down the right side of the garden section past the soil and mulch
  • No different from any other Lowe's. But they do always have coffee.
  • Say hello to Ms Dorothy as you enter. She shares her perspective on life and how to easily locate what you're looking for in Lowe's.
  • On the weekends grab a cart from the parking lot, because there aren't usually inside the store.
  • Get the MyLowe's card. It's great for keeping track of purchases -- when you can't keep track of receipts. Perfect for internet lifestyles!
  • If you're doing a big project, go see Alicia at the pro desk! She is super helpful and knowledgeable!
  • Deavon was super helpful! Great customer service.
  • Elizabeth Wolff in the kitchen department is wonderful! Take your measurements and let her design a great kitchen to fit your needs/style! Call for an appointment for personalized time.
  • If you want cabinets, talk to Elizabeth. Very good service and stories.
  • Try the paint department. They're "gonna give you excellent service. It's just up to you to be receptive of that service."
  • If you see a redhead by the name of Alex over in Plumbing, ask him what county he's from. He'll be happy to tell you!
  • Buy more tool than you need. You can pay a little more now or a lot more later.
  • Oddly laid out and sometimes strange selection. Took forever to find what I needed, even with help from employees.
