London's Jumeirah Lowndes Blossoms Into A Modern Hotel Following Renovations
Unveiling its new look this month, the five-star Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel has transformed into an even sleeker hotel with chic new furnishings and a more contemporary look. Interior designer Lynne Hunt London took on the boutique Belgravia hotel and executed her sophisticated style across all 88 rooms.

Among the changes were guestrooms that are more tech-savvy with iPads in all rooms and room service apps that allow guests to order anything from food to extra pillows. Making sure to stay true to its roots, the property features traditional masterpieces from world-renowned artists such as Francesco Fieravino and Evarista Baschenis. The art hangs above headboards in each room.
"The new décor builds upon Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel's existing sense of intimacy and 'home away from home' feel, improving our guests' comfort and the rooms' functionality," said General Manager, Ian Richardson.
Throughout the corridors, iconic images and landmarks are portrayed on the walls and offer a sense of place. With this same sentiment, Jumeirah has made sure to give guests a chance to connect with the local culture and get a feel for the area while staying at the hotel. Amenities include the Lowndes Bar & Kitchen, an all-day dining venue in a relaxed and comfortable setting; and guests are granted access to all the facilities at the nearby Jumeirah Carlton Tower, including The Peak Health Club & Spa.
