Foursquare Tips

  • I hadn't been to Lincoln in years until 2 weeks ago and it was incredible. The chicken was the best I've had in Portland. The baked hen eggs were fantastic as was the foie gras. Fantastic and simple.
  • On an up-and-coming North Portland strip, Lincoln soothes with humble dishes, simple flavors, and steady service.
  • Chef Jenn Louis attributes her minimalist approach to delicious menu items like baked eggs with cream, castelvetrano olives and herbed bread crumbs to her days cooking for the staff at Outward Bound.
  • The Cornmeal onion rings are class!
  • We eat at the bar here when we're craving onion rings; and pair them with pretty much anything on the menu for a delightful meal. Seriously. And if you're into eggs, their baked egg appetizer - whoa.
  • Marty bribes the host to get a table here in Grimm's season 1 episode 9. The scene creepily concludes when he hallucinates his father's mousey face on all of the restaurant's patrons.
  • We heart Chef Jenn Louis! If youre a serious meat lover, then you cant miss the foie gras parfait! Also, dont miss the Octopus, the Bucatini, and the Lambs Neck!
  • Hit or miss. I've had some excellent dishes and some not so excellent. Too risky for the price.
  • Food was delicious. Try the popcorn cotta. Fantastic
  • Lincoln is the perfect mix of classic and modern, old and new. This restaurant gives a sophisticated look at the incredible Portland food scene. The food is simple and reflects seasonal ingredients.
  • May be the best place I've ever been. NOT BULLSHITTING!
  • Jen the bartender is the friendliest server around. The kale salad is amazing!
  • Get the hanger steak with blue cheese butter. Youre welcome in advance.
  • No offense.. the staff is nice but the food is so greasy and unhealthy. Can never eat here again.
  • best onion rings and salads...
  • The fritters - whatever version - are always tasty.
  • Jenn Louis' restaurant is an admirable study in simplicity. From Louis' signature baked eggs appetizer to layered salads and pastas, the fresh and subtle restaurant lays on the charm. [Eater 38 Member
