  • One of my favorite restaurants in SF. Airy and open, vibe great for a date or group of friends. Tuna poke on crispy seaweed and beef tongue poppy seed buns were outstanding. Impressive draft beers.
  • Everything was amazing -- tuna poke, duck liver toast, and pork shank were standouts.
  • Everything (but the pork belly) was light, subtle and very good. Highly recommended.
  • Everything was amazing. The poppy seed bun especially!
  • "New home of Ravi Kapur's frmr pop-up, with back-up from the Nopa/Nopalito team. Food inspired by Kapur's Hawaiian heritage, with shades of Chinese and Indian influences and plenty of NorCal produce."
  • strong Japanese whiskey collection. try the white oak Akashi.
  • Tuna poke on battered fries seaweed chip, octopus with green olives, yogurt coriander sauce, raisins and crispy potatoes, Manila clams in light curry and Bombe Hawaiian.
  • Entrees are good for two. Try the cornish game hen. Tastes like upgraded Korean fried chicken- crispy, savory and a hint of sweetness. Favorite new restaurant in 2015!
  • Admire the gorgeous black-and-white photo of the chefs mom while you inhale tuna poki on nori chips or Manila clams in a coconut curry with fava leaves, fresh turmeric and garlic naan.
  • Came for cocktails and wasn't disappointed! Cool sophisticated vibe, great bartenders and creative tasty drinks.
  • The fried oysters and beef tongue buns were amazing
  • kale and hen is a must. also the baked Hawaii.
  • Great change of pace compared to what you would expect. There are 3 categories of food. Small plates, medium plates, and full entrees.Indulge in a great desert like Apple Pie with Curry.for desert.
  • Skip the tuna poke, it's underwhelming. Instead order the roasted octopus. The texture and flavor of the octopus accompanied by crispy potatoes and fruit notes are incredible. Get it all in one bite!
  • The hen and broccoli was by far the best dish we tried. Beef rib was nothing special.
  • Make sure to order the homemade spam musubi, even if it's not on the menu!
  • Great atmosphere (think upscale tiki) with solid food + cocktails. Tuna poke + fried oyster beef carpaccio were small plate favorites. Also if there's a Spam special - don't hesitate, just get it!
  • The fried rice with spam was incredible and made for a great breakfast the best morning
  • Eggplant, Hen, Pop Tart! The cocktails were not to my liking, so I recommend sticking with beer or wine.
  • Start with the popcorn. There are very few ways to go wrong on the menu. But beware the entrees are large (great for splitting!) but after filling up on sides, you may want to skip entirely
